Oregano’s Pizza and Bakery in Nortd Port

Grew up in LI, Jericho High class of '91! :) Moved to FL in '95, for years I have searched for that certain flavor FL pizza just never had, some "NY Style Pizzerias" have said "it's the water" others say "can't get the same ingredients" and believe me, I've tried pizza all over the state, from $2-$8 a slice. FINALLY! FINALLY! I found that taste I've craved for YEARS! I ordered a pie and in one bite I was suddenly a 17 year old in Hicksville playing Street Fighter II at Sun-Up Pizzeria after school! Sun-Up is long gone, but that LI pizza taste LIVES at Long Island Brothers!!! THANK YOU!!!! Only pizzeria I will ever order from in the future!

We have had take out and delivery! Top notch REAL pizza! We are from Connecticut and know good pie! Their Gluten free white stone bridge pizza Is delicious! It has the perfect amount of ricotta, motz, and it’s finished with the perfect amount of garlic and high quality olive oil! Love this place!

Amazing food but don't bother with GrubHub. Order was canceled after waiting for a bit 2 days in a row trying to order here. Great food tho if you make the trip.

Absolutely amazing! The most delicious pizza I've had in Florida in the last 25 years. Excellent garlic knots and subs too. We are working our way through the whole menu. Can't go wrong here!

I have never been disappointed. Freshness is their standout feature.top Top it with good ingredients. I am always happy to wait a few minutes when dining in. They are busy so I relax and enjoy the minimal wait. Take out is a great feature. Love their slice and drink special a affordable and plentiful surprise.They are next to Goodwill . I was surprised the 1st time. Keep going back for more.

Had an amazing experience here! The food has a brilliant flavor and the sizes of the stromboli/calzone are great. Have been looking for a place to get good ones for a while and this is it. The pizza also looked delicious coming out of the oven and I will definitely be back to try one!

Pizza was great, staff was very nice. Didn't have to long of a wait for pick up. Closet thing in town to a New York pizza. Prices weren't to bad either. Did not dine in but picked it up. Place was very clean. Only complaint wasn't very hot when I got it. If in town visiting or live here definitely check them out.

Ordered wings, extra crispy, and the sadie pie. Everything came hot and as ordered. Evan faster then told. Great experience.

Very friendly and if you go often enough they'll start to greet you by your 1st name :). Customer service A+ food A+ best pizza in town. Try their subs are great as well. Meatball sub this is the place...The bambino (Italian) is great especially when it's toasted. Haven't tried the other subs yet but I will eventually...

Pizza is very good, the limited stars is for the service. I know the cost of utilities can be high, but after spending over $30 on 2 things- you’d think they could put the AC on! Was 90 outside and was cooler outside than sitting in there. Can’t enjoy a meal while your sweating. Had to pick up and leave, kind of a waste since we left the house to eat out- not to bring the food home. Very frustrating.Update 9/5/19.. came in after work at 4:45, a sign states “no slices after 4”?!?!! So I asked how long for a pie .. 45 min to an hour?! Then the girl at the register puts her pointer finger up to me as she took a call. Don’t know how this place is run/in business. There used to be very nice owners, now seems to be run by rude snotty teens. Oh well, walked out without ordering- other places around.

The best pizza I have had since moving to FL 3 years ago. Pizza by the slice is awesome! $4.50 w/ soda. 2 slices with soda is just $6.50.

We ordered calzone and stromboli tonight for take out. Very tasty, nice portions, good price and service. Will defiantly be trying more of the menu!

I don't know what happened to this place. When they first opened it was great pizza and food. The pizza is all thin crust, no dough, no edge crust, the garlic knots were solid dough, so much so it was hard to chew. We are in and had to repeat ourselves several times to the waitress. Really disappointed, this was amazing pizza when they first took over.

Nothing like NY pizza. Crust was hard, $4 to add a quarter of a chicken cutlet to it.

Both of us got the 'Gambino' 12" sub sandwich. One cold, one hot. Husband liked the hot one, but I found the bread on the cold one to be very much like an oversized hot dog bun. There was about 1 slice of tomato which was cut into smaller pieces - hardly worth the trouble. Meat was good but the little container of Italian salad dressing did little to make the sandwich easier to eat. Tried the espresso soda which I enjoyed. Unisex restroom was not good. Staff was nice & helpful.

Pizza was good ... Customer service was good. And The place looked great, till I seen the bathroom. WOW Terrible won't be going back.... if the bathroom looks like that .I'd hate to see what I can't see in the back...

Sry im one not to give bad reviews if its bad but for 50$ the food was not worth it. Very disappointed w ordering there for first time. Pizza was ok alittle on dry side w crunchy crust and we ordered the full Caprese salad it literally came to us w nothing in it . The bottom of the container wasnt even covered for the..price . A full size shld be big enough for 2 .

This place is over priced and they don't know what extra cheese is and the"fried" wings are baked so for $40 I got a small regular cheese pizza and 6 baked to death dry chicken wings all I have to say is Booooooo!

Ordered take out- the girl who answered and took my order was very sweet and efficient. Delivered in a timely manner. The pizza is delicious- I have a tough time finding comparable pizza from where I came from ( western Pa) - this is so very authentic! Love it!

Stopped in for a slice as I was headed through town and was so glad I did. Had a white specialty slice tomatoes and a balsamic drizzle so good. Also has a slice of cheese and it was great as well. If I'm ever in the area I will definitely stop and again.

Went in to pick my pizza up .... not one person had a mask or gloves ! I said something about not wearing a mask . And she said we don’t have to . I was just going to leave without my pizza but I paid for it and left . Came home and thought it out . I will not be going back ! Giving one star because I had to

I like your sicilian pizza..I got 7 people in my house to order and get a call back you out of dough at 6:30 so you can't complete my order was disappointing.Not saying I will not be back because I probably will .Just this really sucked

Big disappointment and over priced. Cardboard with low,quality ingredients out of tupperware. I wanted my moneyback the moment I saw and smelled it. I never paid so much for such horrible pizza. This is not the real deal. This is taking advantage of people that don't know better. Do yourself a favor; go to Winn Dixie and get a "Home Run Inn" frozen pizza; at least it's from.Chicago and is delicious.Sorry; I'm just being truthful.

Had 3 meals there with family, all of them excellent. The appetizers were great. The owner was cooking them himself!

Long Island Brothers serves authentic style pizza among other yummy stuff!! I like that they have where you can buy pizza by the slice. Definitely recommend this pizza place in North Port. It's not tucked away too far just right off of US 41 😊🍕🥖🥗

Best pizza in north port! Well worth the wait and money. If I had to pick a place in north port to get pizza on a date night with my wife it would be here. Will always be coming here. Thanks guys. 👍

FINALLY... Great New York pizza. Others have come close, but LIB nails it. Thin crust and folds great. Crunchy crust. Has the proper "taste" that is hard to duplicate unless you use the proper water and technique. (or you're in NY) Awesome job guys. I'm also going to add, my dad was born and raised in New York City, Harlem specifically, back when it was German immigrants. he was raised in Queens, grew up in the area of the five boroughs. I brought some pizza over to him to share, and he gave his full approval that it was legitimate New York Pizza. he was totally amazed that he could actually find New York Pizza that was not only edible in this area, much less awesome!!! TBH, the pizza of brought back memories of sitting in Luna in Little Italy. the only downside, is, I work in the ER in Port Charlotte, unfortunately, they don't deliver that far out. I would treat all my coworkers to a pizza party, gladly, just to share the experience

Ordered take out. We were hungry and we’re in the mood for subs. My husband got a chicken parm sub that tasted like rubber, my sub tasted worse than a gas station sub, and we didn’t even want to serve our friend the buffalo chicken calzone. Had to go back and get our money back. We NEVER complain about DOD but it was seriously the WORST QUALITY chicken ever. We’ll never go back.
